Continuing to build their race team for the upcoming season, BirelART North America has confirmed Timothé Pernod to their 2023 driver lineup. As a Provincial Champion and earning podiums in the Canadian National Karting Championships, Pernod is ready for a new challenge as he shifts his focus to the national stage.

"We welcome Timothé to our program and look forward to continuing his upward trend and success," explained PSL Karting Team Manager Kevin King. "Timothé will race as a factory driver alongside World Champions Marijn Kremers and Matheus Morgatto in the Senior ranks and help provide a powerful 1 - 2 - 3 program for the Red Army."

Earning a Rotax Senior title in 2022 north of the border in Canada in his rookie season in the Senior division at age fourteen, Pernod will now shift his focus to the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Series and the Rotax Trophy Cup opening rounds in January. 

"A huge thank you again to Kevin and Dominic to provide me the opportunity to work with the best equipment, team, and drivers," explained Pernod. "I am excited to get the season started and look forward to continuing the winning ways for the BirelART North America family."

Pernod continued, "I can never say it enough, I am where I am today because of Ben Cooper. I will always be grateful to him and will never forget what he did for me to help my progression. Ben, you are  the best. Thank you."
