WINNING WEEKEND FOR PSL IN FLORIDA
PSL Karting had another winning weekend in Florida, where the team attended the round 1 and 2 of the SKUSA WinterNationals.
15 drivers represented Birel ART North America in one of the most famous tracks in the USA, the Orlando Kart Center. The team scored 4 podiums and a victory.
Matheus "The Great" marks it again! The 2022 OK World Champion Matheus Morgatto won the X30 Senior final on Sunday. The Brazilian proved a great pace which allowed him to get the leadership of the race on lap 9 and to open a large gap from the rest of the field. His teammate Diego Ramos finished 3rd. The victory was the second trophy for Morgatto who got 3rd place on Saturday's main event.
Sunday was a day to remember also for Alessandro De Tullio (X30 Senior) who recovered 25 positions (from P30 to P5) in the main event. Savaglio entered the top10 at his first race weekend with PSL.
Marijn Kremers proved to be one of the men to beat in Shifter despite the bad luck. A slow puncture in the Round 1 Prefinal made the event bitter. Marijn started the Final from P15 and he finished in 3rd place scoring the fastest lap. Things got easier on Sunday, Kremers was among fastest for the entire day. He scored another podium, 2nd place this time, after a very solid final.
Christian Cameron (X30 Junior), Cole Medeiros and Antonio Pizzonia Neto (Mini Swift) had positive improvements along the race week.
The next event PSL Karting team will be the United States Pro Kart Series round 2 on April 29 and 30 in Texas.
