Oliver Askew Untouchable in DD2 with Dylan Tavella On The Podium For PSL Karting.

PSL Karting was a force to be reckoned with during the 2nd round of the Sofina Foods Florida Winter Tour, scoring a dominating victory in DD2 and remaining competitive in all of classes where PSL drivers entered.

Oliver Askew commanded the DD2 field for the entirety of the weekend. Qualifying on pole position, sweeping every heat and winning both the prefinal and final, Askew was the only driver present on the Rotax weekend to score the victory in every on-track session. Lapping over 2 tenths faster than the field, Askew won the DD2 final by a margin of over 7 seconds between himself and 2nd position.

Along with Askews performance, Dylan Tavella also drove masterfully in the Rotax MAX Junior final. Making up several positions, Tavella strategically raced his way to finish in 3rd position with fantastic race pace, impressing many with his ability to match the leaders while still overtaking several drivers during the session. Andres DeAlba continues to grow as a driver, taking full advantage of PSL's driver program, and will carrry this momentum into the next round.

With Tavella scoring highly, Jordon Lennox was also a promising contender for the win. Leading the Senior MAX final, the talented driver eventually retired due to an on-track incident. Gianfranco Mazzaferro also contended for the lead throughout the weekend, qualifying off pole and finishing in the top 5 for heat 3.

Team manager Coy Arbour had very high remarks on the performance of his team for the 2nd round "I was more than satisfied with Askew and everyone this weekend. Oliver was untouchable all weekend long and Dylan Tavella continues to make lasting impressions with everyone."

PSL Karting heads to Palm Beach International Raceway for the final round of the 2016 Sofina Foods Florida Winter Tour. Arrive and drive packages are available for all ROK and Rotax MAX classes.
