Canadian team PSL left a lasting impression at this past weekend's Florida Winter Tour. Not only did their number one driver in Pro Shifter, Jan Velez-Walter, have a first and a second place finish but Expert Shifter driver Marc Flood finished an excellent fourth this weekend. Michael Grenier surprised everybody when he took command of Sunday's Rotax Junior race, leaving everybody behind by almost half a track, and this was only his second time in the seat of a Rotax. Unfortunately he got demoted to second place due to a jumped start penalty.
PSL owner Dominic Labrecque left for Italy today in order to get the newest CRG Racing Department equipment for his drivers, specially for Jan Velez-Walter in Pro Shifter, where the competition is really the strongest, with big name drivers to beat. PSL is confident that everything will be ready and very competitive for the next FWT race in Jacksonville and the first Stars of Karting race in Oklahoma in March. As shown this weekend, 2004 engines and chassis are going strong, but PSL is looking forward to a very successful year 2005.
