FIN DE SAISON VICTORIEUSE POUR PSL KARTING

Orlando – USA, November 16 2004 – It was last weekend on the Walt Disney’s site in Florida that was held the World Final of the American series ``Stars of Karting``. For the occasion the best drivers of the East and West Coast were reunited. Team PSL/NEVOSO Kart was able to show that it was again one of the best teams in the country. Sergio Pena, clenched the 2004 Cadet championship and Thomas Hartensveld finished 3rd in junior ICA. Kevin Lacroix becomes the number 1 rookie in ICC with a fourth place overall.

In ICC, the American Darren Elliott, with a CRG chassis and a Maxter engine crossed the finished line in second place behind his rival Alex Speed. Elliott who had the best qualifying time was satisfied with his performance. Not far behind was Kevin Lacroix, who finished 8th with the second fastest lap, assuring his 4th place in the championship. Right behind was Jan Velez-Walter of Puerto Rico who even with worn tires took 9th place. For South American Terrick Mansur the weekend came to a halt when he spun in the pre-final.

In cadet, the indestructible Sergio Pena had nothing to say after qualifying 8th on Saturday. Pena who dominated the East was not happy with the situation. Strong-minded Sergio Pena and his partner Will Tenney offered one of the best finals of the weekend before taking the 2 first steps of the podium.

In junior ICA, Thomas Hartensveld on CRG, 2004 eastern champion finished 3rd. Hartensveld who had an impressive season was disappointed to see his teamate Nicolas Silva abandon with engine problems.
