2004 banquet for the season end of the Eastern Quebec karting championship. The evening was held on the enchanting site of the Mont Ste-Anne.

Mont Ste-Anne, Quebec, Novembre 1st 2004. It was last Saturday that was held the banquet for the season end of the  Eastern Quebec karting championship. The evening was held on the enchanting site of the Mont Ste-Anne. The evening crowned a 6 race championship that was held throughout eastern Quebec. A gondola ride to chalet at the top of the mountain was offered to all for a cocktail and a great view.

 

The winners of each categories of the eastern championship were offered trophies and purses during the evening. A special thanks to our sponsors that made our championship possible; Karting Grand-Mère, KCR Karting, Lelièvre Karting, Karting Thetford, Karting Pointe-du-Lac, École de pilotage Pole Position, Impression Rythme Urbain, Fix-Auto Brossard et Henri-Bourasssa Est, Station Daniel Sirois, MaxJet , Viper Canada , Formula Kart Racing, Vega, MG Pneus, AL Karting , SMART Race Paint , Sport Image and PSL Karting. More than $15 000 were distributed in prizes including a race in Florida during the 2005 winter cup offered by Formula Kart and PSL Karting and also 3 driver course offered by Pole Position driving school. During the evening 2 rookies of the year were unveiled. Charles Bernier for the Juniors and Thierry St-Onge for the Seniors.

 

The winner of the race in Florida is Mathieu Bourguoin

 

The winner of the helmet painting from Smart Race Paint is Cindy Francoeur.

 

The winners of the drivers course at the pole position driving school are Thierry St-Onge in FAQ, Sylvain Clair in Rotax Max and Pierre Lachance for Masters.

 

A vast amount of prises were also given away.

 

A huge thanks to the drivers and there families that showed up in great numbers contributed to the success of the banquet. We would also like to thank Mr. André Larochelle of AL Karting for the pictures taken during the season and especially during the evening and also for the beautiful photomontage presented during the evening.

 

Congratulation to our M.C. Lina Bellemare. Who revealed little secrets and habits of our recipients.

 

In conclusion the season came to a closure in a great way. Mont Ste-Anne brought a smiles to lots of faces!
