10 MORE PODIUMS AND 2 CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR PSL.

Jake Rosenzweig, from England, won his first ICA championship with the PSL team. He won the last round of The Florida Winter Tour in Ocala. 

 

 Brad Smith won the Rotax Masters championship of the Florida Winter Tour. At the last round at Homestead he had bad damage on his chassis but PSL team helped him to be on the winning way.

Brad finished twice on the podium's second step at the first week end in TAG heavy. 

 

 

In JICA, Mikael Grenier arrived with a third place at the championship and he had big hope.Since the first race he showed his intention.  He had the 5th time but he obtained the 6th place in final.  Sunday he did the 3rd time in qualification.  All his podium dreams gone when his engine seized.  Starting from the back of the grid he finished 15th. 

 

During the second week-end Mikael finished with an excellent second position in Rotax Jr at Sunday's final. He made a very good come back at Saturday's final. He started 28th and finished 5th.

Tommy Beshro, whose main objective was to gain confidence and experience took the 20th position on Saturday and the 19th on Sunday with very good laptimes.

Excellant improvement for Tommy during the Rotax week-end in the junior class. He finished 12th and 11th after a good fight with Nick Neri.

For his first race with PSL team Tyler Wheeler was fast and took an excellent 4th place Saturday. It was his best result in JICA.

Pelayo Troncoso, at his first season in Sr, improved himself at the Florida Winter Tour. He was unlucky  in both finals.  He was in the middle of the pack when he had acccident.

 

Antony Llopiz stayed in the top 10 all the week end, taking the 9th position Saturday and the 8th Sunday after a start from the 28th position.

In  ICC, Jan Velez made a very good come back.  Started 22nd, he finished 6th with the fastest lap of the race. He did samething Sunday and took the 5th place of the championship. 

 

In ICC Tom Cadieux did not find the good pace.  He finished 15th in both races. 

For his first race in  ICC Wes Philips took the 9th place Saturday but he did not finished Sunday. 

Paul Walker stayed in good position but he did not climb onto the podium.  Twice  3rd in pre final, he finished in 4th position Saturday and Sunday. By the way he finished 5th in the championship.

 Saturday in  rotax senior Alex Louet qualified 5th.  In final he started from the 15th and finished 7th.  Sunday he finished 5th in spite of his carburator's problem.  Corey Rossman, who had a very good improvement since the first race in Homested, finished in 14th and 13th positions. 

 

 

Paul Walker 

 

In masters Brad Smith was the fastest and he won the race Saturday.  The day after he made the pole positon and swiped the pre final but had some mechanic troubles.. Paul Walker stayed with the fastest drivers and he took the 3rd place Saturday and the 2nd place Sunday.

For the  DD 2 «shoot out», Jean Francois Valour climbed onto the 3rd step of the podium in the first race but he had only the 5th position in the second.  Steven Matthews finished 17th Saturday but he could not be on the grid Sunday because his engine did not start. 

 

 Excellent 2nd and  3rd position for  Jesus Rios Jr in Mini Max on his CRG Mini Max

 

A good end of season for PSL Karting with more than 10 podiums.

 

Now PSL Karting prepared its new season.  Their next canadian  race will be on April 28th on the Pointe du Lac  track in Quebec.

 

The next race for the PSL team will be in Norman Oklahoma for the first round of the «Stars of karting»  serie on April 20th and 21st.
