After struggling through the Stars of Karting Series this past year, Jan Velez ended the series back with a vengeance. Finishing second by a minimal margin and almost stuck to the bumper of Mandarino, both gave a very exciting driving demonstration to the fans in Woodbine, Toronto at the Stars of Karting National Finals, which lasted up to the last second of the race, having the spectators on the edge of their seats so to speak.

Jan said afterwards, "I can't give enough thanks to the PSL team, who really came through for me all the way. Daniel, PSL's engine tuner, gave me a super engine, fast and reliable. My new mechanic Juan David Pena (Sergio Pena's uncle) wasn't far behind. He understands my driving style and the chassis and of course the great Dominic Labreque (with Stephane on his side), who is the heart of this team, holding everything and everybody together. A big thank you to all of them. We can't wait to go to the SuperNationals and measure up to all these European drivers coming to Las Vegas. Hey, the more the merrier. I think a real racer always wants to beat the best. Everybody knows it is hard to race against the European factories, but nothing is impossible, and the team is getting ready to make this long trip from Montreal to Las Vegas in order to come out on top.”

PSL is inviting drivers who are intrigued by the SuperNationals to join them under their tent.
