VELEZ BACK ON TOP WITH THE PSL MAXTER....

Thursday, July 20 2006

Trying out the combination of a CRG chassis powered with the "new" Maxter tuned by PSL, it turned out to be a very good match again, leading Jan Velez to victory over Philippe Gelinas at this weekend’s main ICC event at the Grand Prix Napa de Québec, which was held under extreme heat in the streets of Quebec.

Velez said, "I was very happy with the CRG chassis and PSL's Maxter engine performance, I really do appreciate the tremendous effort put in by the PSL team to have me racing up front again, taking into consideration, that my participation at this very important event, had been decided only last Sunday after the Stars race in Charlotte."

Saturday's pole also belonged to Velez, whereas during the pre final the tires took a little longer to heat up and left him therefore in second spot, which was not a bad starting point either.
