THE BEGINNING OF A PRESTIGEOUS SEASON FOR THE PSL TEAM

Trois-Rivièrse, Québec, May 24th – 2006 last weekend the PSL team went to New Castle, Indiana in order to take part in the first Eastern race of the renowned series “ Stars of Karting”.  This American series is composed the five events and attracts drivers from North America, Canada and Europe.  With their nine (9) drivers in contention, JICA:  MIKAËL GRENIER (Canada), GARRISON MASTERS (USA), JACOB NEAL (USA);  ICA:  JAKE ROSENZWEIG (England);  ICC:  TOM CADIEUX (Canada), RICHARD CAMPOLLO (Guatemala), MARC FLOOD (Canada), CHRISTOPHER MILLER (USA), JAN VELEZ-WALTER (Porto Rico) in three (3) different categories.  The PSL team has once again shown as notoriety with a triple win in the JICA category.

In JICA, MICKAËL GRENIER was in head position on Saturday but had a collision in the finals and finished in eleventh (11) position.  Sunday was perfect for MICKAËL by  swiping pole position, the preliminaries and the final.  GARRISON MASTERS climbed on the podium twice.  A very good performance by MASTERS during the first weekend of the series.  Fast time for JACOB NEAL over the weekend.  Propelled out of the circuit during practice, he missed Saturday’s final.  He made a strong come back the following day by finishing in fifth (5) position.  Two podiums for ANTONIO ZANELLA, a PSL client on CRG, finished in second (2) position during the finals on Saturday and Sunday.

The  PSL / CRG drivers in JICA category was using PARILLA / HIGH-REV motors.  These motors have proven to be highly performing by allowing the drivers to step on the podium.

In ICC, five drivers among 56 were wearing  the PSL / CRG colours.  The Ontarian, TOM CADIEUX, made a spectacular recovery from twenty-seventh (27) to eighteenth (18) position.  For RICHARD CAMPOLLO, with a second (2) position in the last qualification race, he won a place in the final but didn’t succeed in stepping on the podium.  MARC FLOOD, the racer from Quebec, took the fifth (5) position in the A group in the Sunday qualification being the best out of 4 racers, Flood finished the event in twenty-first (21) place.  CHRIS MILLER drove a very good race on Saturday.  Starting the race in the middle of the group, MILLER was able to take the sixth (6) place but an unfortunate collision pushed him back into the thirty-fourth (34) position.

JAN VELEZ-WALTER was the fastest driver of the Sunday pre-finals.  After missing his Start, he mouved from fifteenth (15) position to sixth (6) position.
