PSL WON IN ICA AND ROTAX MAX CLASSES AT THE FIRST ROUND OF THE FLORIDA WINTER TOUR!
JANUARY 21st and 22nd was the first round of the Florida Winter Tours at the Homestead track. More than 260 drivers were at this first round. It was a record! Last year was the biggest year with half of the drivers.
PSL Karting team won 4 podiums at this round.
A total domination in ICA with the CRG factory driver: Alexander Sims from the United Kingdom. Alexander was only at his second race in over a year. He was badly injured in an alpine skiing crash. He went through many surgeries. Alex is using the Winter Tour to come back to the competition. He showed
all during this week-end, that he did not loose his driver abilities. He had a perfect week-end!
PSL drivers Alexander Sims and Jake Rosenzweig first and second on Saturday qualified.
After a collision on Saturday and Sunday finals, Jake Rosenzweig was compel to give up.
Jan Velez was also unlucky during the week-end and after some collisions he had to give up.

In Saturday’s final Richard Campollo lost the race after a collision with a latecomer. Richard had a perfect day Sunday and won the final. The PSL driver, from Dominican Republic, was first in Rotax Sr ahead of 45 drivers.
Excellent season beginning for the Coupe de l’est champion 2005. Jean-François Valour, winner of the trip to Florida, finished second at the first round of the Florida Winter Tour.
Elie Arseneault was only at his second race and he finished fourth at the Saturday’s pre final ahead of 32 drivers in Rotax Jr.
Zachary Scalzo is in his first season with his mechanic Daniel. He finished in a good 18 th position at the final of Saturday in the Mini max class.
After qualifing first in his group Tommy Beshro finished in an excellent 6th position in Mini Max class.
Peter, Ken and Alex, Ontario’s drivers and their mechanic Francis had good time during their week-end in Florida.
