Formula 1600 testing day 

Trois-Rivieres, October 11th 2005. The 2005 season of the eastern championship is now over, and its time to reward our winners.

 

 

1.     The winners of the Rotax Senior and Rotax Junior will win a all expense paid race  weekend at the American championship Florida winter tour 2006.

2.     All the winners of the senior classes: Honda senior, F.A.Q, Rotax senior, Master and ICC got a day in a formula 1600.

3.     The best rookie senior will be given a 3 day complete course to get his licence for road circuit in a Toyota Echo cup from the team Trac racing this in spring 2006.

 

Its on Friday October 7th in Sanair that was held the testing day for the winners of the senior classes of the 2005 eastern championship of Quebec.

Louis Morin of the Multi-Prets team initiated the kart champions to the formula 1600. Its on the Sanair oval that the drivers were able to demonstrate there abilities in a single seater(open wheel). 5 lucky winners took advantage of this special day. The five lucky persons are Martin Verville FAQ winner, Benoit Philippe Rondeau 2nd in the Rotax senior class, Marc Flood  the ICC champion  with also Sylvain Clair, 2004 Rotax senior champion and Pierre Lachance 2004 Master winner. The drivers had the privilege to drive Phillipe Gelinas race car.

Even with the bad temperature, the soaked helmets and suits and minor spinouts, everybody was happy with their day.
